 | What is CIAO? CIAO (pronounced “chow”) is Italian for hello and goodbye. No other name is more suitable. There are many factors that get in the way of young adults making a successful transition to adult hood. That is where Creating Independence and Outcomes (CIAO) can help. CIAO prepares youth for successful careers and lives after foster care. | CIAO has assisted more than 500 youth who have left the foster care system. CIAO helps former foster youth in the areas of education and employment, such as earning a credential or degree, developing and realizing career goals, and finding the stability that they need to become independent young adults. | | |
