Supportive Services

Active participants in the CIAO Program are eligible for several types of supportive services. Several factors are considered when offering supportive services including, but not limited to, participant need (as related to employment, training and educational goals) and program budget. Participants should address questions about supportive services to their Transition Specialist.

Some common supportive services include things such as obtaining a Driver License, State Identification, Birth Certificate, Interview or Work Clothing, Job-related Tools or Equipment, Bus Tickets or Passes, Vehicle Repairs and Training Fee's. All supportive services are addressed on an individual basis and are not necessarily limited to the specific examples listed above. However, all supportive services must be tied to the areas of employment, training and education.
